Positive: The room and the meals were good.

Negative: I was disappointed they won’t let customers take some of their breakfast food with them to eat later. Hikers and cyclists clearly give them substantial business. We pay for the breakfast, we should be allowed to eat a banana or croissant whenever we want to eat it.

Positive: Repeat visitor to Hotel Bal and it is perfect for onward travel to Le Shuttle for our return journey to UK. Rooms are good staff are friendly and parking is perfect. Food is very good also and not too expensive.

Negative: Whilst food is excellent the menu could offer a few more alternatives for main courses. If you arrive earlier than 16:00 you will be sat outside waiting.

Summary: Perfect place to stop after travelling through France for return journey to UK.
